Attorney Michael Johnson retired after 44 years of practice.

Professional Qualifications

Attorney Michael Johnson is a 1968 graduate of the University of Minnesota with a major in Political Science and a minor in Military Science. In 1971, he graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School where he was a Stone Scholar, involved with assisting first year law students. After graduation, Attorney Johnson practiced law with the Minneapolis firm of Chestnut, Brooks, & Burkard. In 1973, he joined Frundt & Johnson, Ltd. Attorney Johnsonl was named to the Consumer Guidebook to Law and Leading Attorneys. He also was named a "Super Lawyer" by Minnesota Law and Politics magazine.

Biographic Notes

Attorney Michael Johnson has a long history of involvement in community service. He has been active in the Chamber of Commerce, Minnesota Army National Guard, the Blue Earth Charter Commission, the Blue Earth Industrial Service Company, Kiwanis Club, Lions Club, Boy Scouts, and the United Way. He remains very active in service projects working for Blue Earth Area School referendums, acting as chairperson of the 17th District Ethics Committee and a representative for the 17th District Bar Association to the Minnesota State Bar Association Assembly. Mr. Johnson is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Faribault County Bar Association and the 17th District Bar Association.
